550 RS

Porsche’s first true racecar, the 550 Spyder virtually dominated the 1.5 litre classes by 1955. Phil Hill, Ken Miles, J-P Kunstle, Jack McAfee, Cy Yoder, Johhny Porter, Richie Ginther, Zora Arkus-Duntov, Hans Herrmann, Richard von Frankenberg, and James Dean were among the many drivers who successfully raced 550’s in the mid fifties. This print gives you a sense of what it’s like to sit behind the wheel of one of these great machines.
